Have you ever woken up fearing what the day was going to bring? Fearing that it’s going to be the last day you had electric or running water. Now add three kids into this scene.

Sadly, this is far too common today.

It’s the story of so many people today. And the life of a family that is close to me. I have a friend she’s a single mother of three beautiful children and this is her story. With no help from her children’s father life it’s not easy for her in many aspects. Needless to say, her car is close to dying and her job pays barely enough to cover her rent alone.

My goal is to help her get her car back in working condition that is safe for her to drive with her children. She has often expressed to me her desire to start her own business. It would give her the time she needs to be mommy, daddy and provider for her three children.

Here’s what we are asking. Right now, I’ve been helping her as much as I could - watching her children while she goes to work for peanuts, bringing her food and chipping in money when I can. But it’s not enough and it won’t help her to offer her children the security and the life that they deserve. I’ve committed to giving as much as we can spare.

I’m asking if you could think about doing the same. Or at the very least, helping get the word out about this. We are looking to raise 5k for this family of four. Enough so that she can get her car in working order, and catch up on her utility bills.
